Consistency Drives TikTok Growth: Claire Vo's Content Strategy

Claire Vo, Chief Product Officer at LaunchDarkly and creator of ChatPRD, discovered that consistency is the key driver of social media growth. When she was actively posting on TikTok every day, she saw significant follower growth, engagement, and algorithm visibility. When her posting cadence dropped, so did her metrics.

"This is my advice and I think you know this: consistency drives audience growth. When I was on TikTok posting every day, you would get followers and engagement and the algorithm would bless you. And when you don't, you don't," Claire explains.

Rather than approaching content creation as a creative challenge that requires generating novel ideas, Claire recommends thinking of it as documentation. She simply talks about what she's thinking about at work, interesting meetings or interactions, and documents why she found them interesting or what could be improved. This approach creates a natural flow of content that's easier to maintain consistently.

"I think thinking about content creation as documentation not creative generation is really helpful," she notes. "I just like to talk about what I think about at work... and that becomes the basis of a very natural flow of content for me."

This documentation-based approach to content creation, paired with consistent posting, has proven to be an effective growth strategy that Claire could maintain alongside her demanding executive role. It's a practical tactic that can be applied to any social platform, not just TikTok, where algorithm visibility is tied to regular posting schedules.
